Going from right to left, step one is shown with full database availability. At node failure, step two, shows partial database availability, decreasing to no database availability. Steps three through six continue to show no database availability until after step six, when recovery begins. Then database availability increases to partial at step seven, and then full database availability occurs at step eight.
